The new PEUGEOT 208 will be one of the main stars of the Barcelona tennis tournament. Introduced to the general public for the first time in Spain, it will be the muse alongside the PEUGEOT brand's prestigious ambassador players. Pablo Carreño Busta, Fernando Verdasco, Lucas Pouille and Leonardo Mayer will face the best world players on clay in Barcelona. PEUGEOT is the "Partner and Official Car" of this tournament which will take place from 20th to 28th April.
From 20th to 28th April, Pablo Carreño Busta (27th in the ATP rankings), Fernando Verdasco (38th), Lucas Pouille (31st) and Leonardo Mayer (62nd) will face the best world players on clay at the Real Tennis Club Barcelona.
These four prestigious players, from Spain, France and Argentina, are part of the PEUGEOT ambassadors team, which was set up in 2017 to boost the international deployment of the brand's sponsorship strategy in the world of tennis.
Created in 1953, the Barcelona tournament is ranked among the ATP 500 tournaments. This year is the 67th edition, which will be played at the end of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 and just before the opening of Roland Garros on May 26th. As the Partner and Official Car of the tournament, PEUGEOT will be providing players and VIPs in Barcelona with a fleet of 27 vehicles made up of new PEUGEOT 508 sedans and SWs, and PEUGEOT Travellers.
